Pillar 03 • Partners & Supporters

None of this is done alone.

Every hour flown, every ranger equipped and every household reached is made possible by the partners and supporters who stand with Tsavo.

Pillar 03 of our strategy

Raising the profile of Tsavo.

Partnerships for Tsavo is the third pillar of our 2023–2027 Strategic Plan, and it is deliberate. The Tsavo Conservation Area is Kenya’s largest protected landscape, yet its profile has never matched its scale. We set out to change that: to bring strong, long-term partnerships and funding to Tsavo, and to raise its standing among the great conservation landscapes of the world.

The Kenya Wildlife Service and the Wildlife Research and Training Institute lead the work; a network of conservation partners, foundations, companies and individuals makes it possible. To every one of them, Tsavo Trust says thank you.

How Partnership works at Tsavo

We convene, connect and deliver.

Long-term financing of the Tsavo Conservation Area sits with KWS as the mandated authority. Our role is to bring partners and funders to the table and channel their support directly to the work on the ground.
